Sneak Peak #2 Plus a catch up!

Wow,

It's been a long while since I have blogged, and oddly enough, I missed it. My blog has become a means for me to say what's on my mind, what motivates and inspires me. Life is beautiful and I want to share my experiences with you. So keep reading and following, I promise I won't take too much of a break.

It seems as if June has been super busy leaving me with barely enough time to myself. Lesson learned: Do not overwork yourself, and don't take on more than you can handle! Now, I admit I have taken on a lot, but I am capable of handling it. I just can't help myself, I love taking photos and any opportunity that I get to shoot becomes hard to turn down. I love what I do and I am thankful that I am getting all of these opportunities to photograph beautiful people, places and events so here is where I stop complaining.

I wanted to write down a little quote I read recently that I absolutely LOVE and it goes a little something like this: "Walk with today, never fall backwards on yesterday and don't step to quick towards tomorrow. Today is a process that leads to the finish line of tomorrow." I love that!!! People tend to think TOO MUCH about the future, which is important, but if you start over thinking things u start to lose the creativity, love and passion. Your dream might start becoming another task that you just want to complete. Get it over and done with. That's not how achieving your goals and aspirations work. The journey should be compelling, the process should be fun, creative and interesting. Of course you want to think futuristically but if you just walk with today and go with the flow, you keep heading in the right direction and your having a blast on your way!

Thanks for reading...Comment :)

Here are a couple of pics from Jen & Rogerio's wedding. Stay tuned for a ton of pics from this wedding plus some photo shoot I will be doing.

Just another one of those glory days...

No photos today people, but I was listening to JUST JACK - GLORY DAYS and the main course really stood out in my head and it went a little something like this..."It's just another one those glory days, jump out your bed, shake your head, clear the haze. Step out your house and prepare to be amazed. It's just another one of those glory days."

How awesome is that? We should all be waking up in the morning with a smile on our face because we are alive and there is so much to see in this world and in our lifetime. We need to stop taking things for granted, and appreciate the little things that may slip beneath our noses. You need to "step out your house and prepare to be amazed" by the world! Take it all in and enjoy it, life is too short to worry and stress over things that aren't that important.

How many times do you encounter a "so called disaster" and stress over it? Next time that happens, think about this: "Frame every so called disaster with these words: In 5 years, will this matter?" Your answer to that question should help you ease your mind.

Take a deep breath and smile because life is a gift, and we are only here once. Let's make the most of it :)

Jen & Rogerio

You know when you meet a couple and you can instantly tell that they are perfect for eachother??? Well, Jen & Roger are those people...Fun, Easy going, care free and happy. That is why it is always such a joy to photograph them. Their wedding was this weekend, and I had a blast. I had a smile on my face from morning until night, or shall I say the next morning...I was there all the way up until the DJ played their final song...I couldn't resist :) It was a great party, and a great day.

Love is a beautiful gift, and to know that you have found that one person who you can laugh with, cry with and share the rest of your life with is one of the greatest feelings in the world. One reason why I love my job so much, is because I am constantly surrounded by love and it's quite inspiring. I don't want to sound cheesy but witnessing the connection between every couple really can put a smile on a persons face and being able to capture those priceless moments with my camera is something I am thankful for.

Jen & Roger, I love you guys and I wish you nothing but the best in the future.

Enjoy some photos from the wedding, and please do not hesitate to comment, it really means a lot to me :)

Julian
